Microgreens are those fancy greens that chefs use to make the dish that you ordered look appetizing. No matter how anti veggie the customer is, they cannot deny the flair of the addition of a microgreen garnish.
The fact is, these are so easy to grow.
Sprinkle some moong or yellow peas on a moist bed of soil in a tray, put the tray at a window or under some lights, and watch them do their thing and grow.
They are not to be confused with sprouts as they are harvested just after the first two leaves.
Filled with nutrients such as vitamins and minerals, they pack a lot of sweet or spicy taste, and are a perfect complement to a meal. There is a whole lot of value behind those pretty looks.
